The documentary I chose to watch is the RWBY Volume 2: Production Diary from Rooster Teeth Productions. There are 4 short episodes involving the director, writers/producers, and voice actors explaining the production process of their animated series RWBY. It is an interesting documentary, although short; we get to see how they animate their show, as well as the process of scripts and story boarding. A lot of it is presented by Monty Oum, who was the creator and director of RWBY. One episode focuses on concept art designs for a character of the show and the process of rendering the 3D model. This is a really convincing documentary that explains the process they go through to create this show. The people in this documentary really know what they're talking about, and give great information on all the processes of creating RWBY. In another episode, it involves the voice actors and how they record in the studio when reading from the scripts; bringing out their character's personality and talking about how used to it they are.

The main elements of creating a documentary includes interviewing people who are a part of the production of whatever the subject is. This was used in the documentary I have talked about, as well as the use of footage from their show, and software they used to create the 3D models and environments, as well using motion capture for movements. The interviews were set at a medium angle of the people being interviewed to focus on what they are talking about. Music was played throughout to keep it exciting with the pace of the videos.
